I know this may be a little old, but I haven't seen anyone mention it. Just some interesting news about the convention center. If you're attending Origins, don't forget your swimsuit!

...fortunately enough of the mess was cleaned up so the center could be reopened the next day but the repairs on the worst of the damage are not supposed to be finished till spring sometime.
